Guilty of Plagerism?

Inspiration is a mystery to many.  Even in Adventism I have heard very erroneous ideas in regard to inspiration.  E. G. White was very clear as to her writings and work.  The prophet was inspired, not the words.  What I mean by this is God inspires the person, then the person is to put the words down that convey the inspiration of God.  By many people the very Bible writers would be plagerists for they used words of others gone before them to get across the message of God.

Ellen White only had a third grade education, so if she saw wording that was very well suited to convey the message she was inspired to give she would use it.  She never claimed to be the originator of the words, but the message or thought conveyed relate the message God was trying to give.

People will find a way out if they are not inclined to heed the light.  There is a darling indulgence or sin they don't want to give up so they cry plagerism to get your mind off of the true message.

I would then ask that individual a couple of questions: Have you written a book or a note what about a grociery list? What was the last that you have written? "Plagerist!" I'd exclaim "because someone wrote that before you." Have you ever wrote or said something to convey the message of God? What did you say? "Plagerist!" I'd exclaim "because someone before you already wrote that." "By your very testimony to me on plagerism the very Bible writers would be plagerists because they took the words of those before them to convey the message of God. Be sure of your definition of what is plagery."

Plagerism did not exsist then. ...for where no law is, there is no transgression. Romans 4:15.
